How to Edit Your Profile on Collective-E

To get the most out of your membership, go to your account and start uploading your personal and your company information. If you don't have a business yet, that's ok! You will be able to network online and offline with other like-minded entrepreneurial women.

To start, go here to login: http://www.collective-e.com/user (or look to the right of this page and login in the boxes)

When you login, you will be taken to your own profile page. This page is available to the public and search engines like Google in order to help promote you and your business. You can change the information that is displayed on your profile by clicking on the little star tabs that are displayed at the top of this page. The pink star indicates what page you are on at that moment.

THE "MEMBER PROFILE" TAB
This is your profile as viewed by the public. You can see how many credits you have for website ads on the Collective-E site including: Link Love Submissions, Company Listings, Just Debuted, Member Polls, and Classified Listings.

THE "EDIT ACCOUNT INFO" TAB
This page is where you can upload and change your mug shot, change your password, personalize your signature that is displayed when you comment in the Forum, and click to select if you want other members to be able to message you directly. You can also unsubscribe to threads you elected to receive notifications on from the Forum. You may also select which email newsletters you'd like to receive from Collective-E.

THE "EDIT PERSONAL INFO" TAB
This is where you can create your bio, and create links of where to find you online. The links will be public, but the contact info will not.

HOW TO ADD A COMPANY
From your Member Profile page, you will see a link to "Add a Company". Click that, and fill in your company name, upload your company logo, and include the links of where to find your company online. Most importantly, assign your company to the Entrepreneurial Directory from the list of selections you will see at the top. Your company page automatically links back to your profile so that people can learn more about you.

HOW TO ASSIGN YOUR COMPANY TO THE ENTREPRENEUR DIRECTORY
If you have created your company profile already, then log in and go to your profile page. Under your company namd and logo, you will see a link to "Edit" it. Click that. At the top of this page, you will see a box of categories from which to assign your company name. If you do not see a category that fits for your company, email us at info@collective-e.com and we'll find a fit and create a new category.

THE "EDIT COMPANY INFO" TAB
This is another way to reach your companies to edit them. When you Add a Company, you will type in the name, upload an image, and select what category in the Entrepreneur Directory it's will be displayed in. You will also be able to add a Just Debuted listing here.

THE "POSTINGS ON COLLECTIVE-E" TAB
This tab shows you were you have participated in the Forum, in case people want to see what you've said in one easy place. The more you participate, the more you can brand yourself as an expert and sell your product.

THE "BILLING ADDRESSES" TAB
This stores your billing and shipping addresses you've entered into the website when purchasing products, to make purchasing easier.

THE "SUBSCRIPTIONS" TAB
This shows which pages you have bookmarked or subscribed to withing Collective-E, like Forum discussions.
